The Sagrada Família is a basilica that was designed and created by Antoni Gaudí, although, it is still not quite finished.  The construction on this basilica began more than one hundred and forty years ago and it is comprised of numerous different architectural styles.  Despite the fact that the Sagrada Família is not quite completed, you can still take a tour of the inside.  It is recommended that you consider skip the line passes, as the line to enter the basilica is quite long.

This market has been around in the city for thousands of years; however, it has only been in its current location in Las Ramblas for approximately two hundred years.  This urban market is filled with stalls that have everything from fruits and vegetables to cold meat, olive products, and cheese.

This magical park was created by Gaudí as well and you must take the time to venture over to Carmel Hill to see it.  The entire park is filled with mosaics, curved benches, fountains, colonnades, and sculptures.  You can also wander through Gaudí’s house, which is now a museum filled with items that he designed.

The Gothic Quarter is considered the oldest part of the city and there is always something to do while wandering the streets there.  In addition to all the Roman and Medieval buildings, you will find numerous cafés, restaurants, and shops.  It is recommended that you just take the time to wander around, as you cannot get lost in the Gothic Quarter and you may discover some true gems that you may have missed if you were following a map.
