This island is frequently visited when there is a full moon due to the parties that are held on the beach. However, the rest of the times of the year, this island is relaxed and almost empty. This is definitely a beach island, so plan on doing some beach-hopping during your visit. Leela Beach and Thong Nai Pan Noi are quite secluded, while most of the action can be found over at Haad Rin.
Koh Chang
If you are looking for some amazing mountains, you must visit the island of Koh Chang when you are in Thailand. After a long hike on the trails, you can choose to relax over on the sand of White Sand’s Beach, or you can do a little shopping at the multiple stores in one area of the island. Don’t forget to do a little swimming when you are on this island, because it is some of the clearest water you will ever see.
