Answer: TravelPony is an online, hotel booking site with the best deals around. Seriously. Instead of spending billions of dollars on marketing like the Big Travel Sites, we pass much of our marketing budget on to our customers in the form of great discounts. In return, we ask that you share about your great deal with a Facebook or LinkedIn post, a tweet, or by word-of-mouth.

Answer: The Big Travel Sites spend billions of dollars on marketing. We do not. "Why?", you ask. Well for one, we don't have billions of dollars. Two, we would rather give you that money in the form of great deals. We only ask in return that you tell your friends about us. It's a great system. Answer: At TravelPony, everybody gets a pony...if by pony we mean a fantastic deal on a hotel room. To get the best hotel deal online, we ask that you share a post or tweet on a social network or promise to tell others about the pony via word-of-mouth.

Answer: Our deals are awesome. In fact, they are so awesome that we're not allowed to show them to you unless you're a member. Getting a deal is as simple as signing up (for free) and sharing about the Pony!

Do I have to log in with Facebook?

Answer: Nope. We think that logging in with Facebook is super easy, that's why it's our preferred method. Remember: We'll NEVER post to your Facebook without your consent. If you do not have a Facebook account, or prefer not to sign in with Facebook, you can create a TravelPony account using your email address.

How safe is my information with the Facebook login?

Answer: We take your security and privacy very seriously. The Facebook login is a fast and safe method of logging into TravelPony. You can find out just how secure it is to log in via Facebook here.

What information do you use from my Facebook account?

Answer: We'll only ask you for basic, public information (your name, profile picture, gender, user id, and list of friends) and your email address. We'll never share your email address with any 3rd parties!

Answer: TravelPony runs on word-of-mouth marketing but we believe companies that post to your Facebook without your knowledge are really, really annoying. We'll never post to your social accounts without your consent!

What do you mean by, "Take 45% off at checkout" next to a hotel? How does that work?

Answer: TravelPony is all about getting the best deal on your hotel. We offer instant savings when our Friends (customers) tell their own friends about us. You can apply this special savings to your booking by entering the promo code "TPSAVINGS" at checkout. If there is a percentage of savings designated next to a hotel, you will receive that amount off of the lowest market price for that hotel room at checkout.

What do you mean by, "special savings at checkout"?

Answer: Sometimes our social discount is so good that we're not allowed to show you how much we can save you until you get to the checkout page. You can view your savings by entering the promo code "TPSAVINGS" at checkout before purchase. You will see the total cost of a stay at the hotel along with the dollar amount that you will be discounted.

Do I have to have a social media account to book a hotel?

Answer: If you don't have a social media account, simply select Pony Promise at checkout and tell your friends in person.

Can I cancel, cut-short, or extend a previous booking?

Answer: Absolutely. Please visit the "My Bookings" section of the website and click "More Details" to amend a reservation. Or, you can reach out to us at support@travelpony.com.

Can I change the name under which the hotel reservation is booked?

Answer: Yes. You can also perform this task by visiting the "My Bookings" section of the website and clicking on "More Details" to amend the reservation. And again...you can always reach out to us at support@travelpony.com!

What information do I need to bring with me to check-in to my hotel?

Answer: You'll be required to provide a valid photo ID and a credit card for incidentals upon arrival at your hotel.

Answer: You can call us at 1-877-980-1221 to reach a friendly member of our reservations support team if you have any trouble with your existing reservation.

How do I check-out early or extend my stay once I am at a hotel?

Answer: To extend your reservation or check-out early, please call us at 1-877-980-1221.
Refer-A-Friend and Travel Credits

What is the Refer-A-Friend program?

Answer: You can earn *$25 in travel credits for referring a friend to TravelPony using your unique hyperlink (found under the "Invite Friends" tab in your account). When a friend clicks on your hyperlink and makes an account, you are registered as the member who referred them to TravelPony. With this information, we can be sure that you receive a $25 travel credit after your friend's first hotel stay. Additionally, your friend will receive a **$35 promo code when they sign up.
*The $25 travel credit is paid 2 days after your friends first trip ends, and is only applicable on trips with a minimum before tax price of $200.
**The $35 Promo Code requires a minimum before tax price of $200.
